Two new firmware packages from ASUS

A few days ago, ASUS announced two new firmware packages aimed at its models: RTAC51U and RTAC1200G + router, namely versions 3.0.0.4.380.3625 and 3.0.0.4.380.3971, respectively.

In terms of changes, the manufacturer has managed to fix the issues that the Movistar Triple VLAN had for the RTAC1200G + unit, as well as the lack of LAN4 from Vodafone VLAN100 from the RTAC51U router. In addition, the latest device created by the company also receives Hinet support and the values ​​of US, CA, and BZ tcode that will use 192.168.50.1 as the default LAN IP. Regarding the installation, simply download, save and unzip the file that is compatible with your router, establish a wired connection between the device and a computer and log in to its management page. Then, go to the Firmware Upgrade section, click “Browse”, navigate and select the new firmware file, click the “Upload” button and wait as the router applies the new firmware. Also, please note that removing the Ethernet / power cable from the device, turning off the router or computer, or interrupting this process in any way can lead to serious malfunctions.
