[su_heading size=”18″ margin=”40″]Project Scorpio: The best console of all time comes from Microsoft[/su_heading]

Microsoft unveiled the new Xbox One S at the E3 exhibition in Los Angeles, but the company also wanted to announce something extraordinary that is set to change the way we play electronic games.
The so-called Project Scorpio – the name of which is tentative and is likely to change before the final product is released – is actually the next generation of the Xbox console, which will bring 4K support and Virtual Reality features. This feature is being developed jointly with a Microsoft partner, the name of which has not been made public.
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox's division, explains that Project Scorpio will be “the most powerful console ever built, offering 4K resolution at 100%”.
Spencer cites Halo 5 as an example, where the console will deliver the best possible performance, explaining that although Xbox One already offers 4K, the resolution automatically drops to avoid stuttering in gaming.

As for the release date, the console launch is expected in 2017, as Microsoft continues to work on it, with Spencer stating that the company's decision to disclose such information aims at transparency and a better relationship with customers.[/su_box]
«It’s crazy that we announced something so early», he says. «But when I myself think as one of our customers, I realize that I want to be able to choose which console to buy, having as much information as possible at my disposal. We want to give you this information before you make your decision.»
Without a doubt, the Project Scorpio version will be more expensive than the current models, without more information being available so far.
