It seems that Blizzard has finally realized the harsh reality of the "most famous" game Overwatch, regarding the takeover of Overwatch characters by porn websites. Porn characters from games are nothing new. We've had characters from Lord of the Rings, Pokemon, X-Men, World of Warcraft, Game of Thrones gracing porn websites for a long time. But the creation of NSFW content from Overwatch and Tracer is something else, as they demean the game according to Blizzard.

Overwatch characters, particularly a female character named Tracer, have become a star on Pornhub. Tracer's popularity has increased by 817% on Pornhub since Overwatch's release.
Normally, video game companies don't worry too much about their characters turning into porn stars, but Blizzard isn't exactly thrilled about it. Blizzard has discovered that the use of Overwatch characters on Pornhub has actually given the game negative publicity. It's now sending out copyright infringement notices to anyone linked to Overwatch porn, according to Destructoid.
The announcement states that the content creators in question must remove the characters in question or risk being sued by Blizzard. However, not everyone is happy with decision to restrict Overwatch porn. One creator urged the large MySpace community to pressure Blizzard to stop these takedown requests.
Blizzard itself wants to end the depiction of Tracer sexually in this controversial pose.
Tracer's stance caused a lot of controversy within the gaming community and Blizzard had to apologize for it. But even if Blizzard disagrees with the existence of Tracer and other Overwatch characters on porn sites, one thing is certain, they will continue to exist on the World Wide Web.
