But has this increased user trust? A new survey showed that Facebook still has work to do!

28% of the 1,000 people surveyed between April 22 and 25 said they did not trust the social network with their data “at all” and 34% answered “not very much”.
This means that 62% of users do not trust Facebook with their data. So it seems that 38% trust it a lot, but that is not true either! Only 1% of users answered that they trust it “a lot”, 32% said that they trust it “somewhat” and 3% were not sure.
Facebook declined to comment on the survey. It's easy to conclude that this poll is a strong condemnation of Facebook's ways, but it's more of a condemnation of us! We're the ones who use the free space the social network offers to show our lives to our friends, and we're the ones who don't get away with it!
Almost no one bothers to think about how Facebook makes money! We may answer surveys that we don't trust Mark Zuckerberg and his team, but we don't actually do anything about it.
