Behold the annoying sound of the internet - The film that delves into the depths of data stored on the internet [video]

A new work by director and designer Timo Arnall puts the viewer in the data center of the Telefonica service provider in Alcalá, Spain.

The work, called «Internet Machine» («Machine of the Internet»), is a six‑minute film that allows people to see and, most importantly, hear the sounds of the data stored on the Internet.

«Think about the sound from your computer's fan. Multiply it by 20 or even more times. Imagine how thousands of such fans operating simultaneously would sound, and they would sound like one», says a worker at the data center according to the Independent.
