Accountants and tax professionals request extension in filing returns
A "blackout" on Taxisnet has been caused since early this morning by a power outage at the General Secretariat for Information Systems of the Ministry of Finance.
Those taxpayers and accountants - tax technicians who were trying since morning to submit either tax returns or applications for the social dividend were unable to complete the submission via Taxisnet, while the GSPS call center was also "dead".
The General Secretary of Public Revenue, Mr. Ch. Theocharis , informing the public via Twitter that there was a power supply problem at the General Secretariat of Information Systems.
Specifically, Mr. Theocharis stated the following: "The power has gone out in the GSPS building and they are struggling to see the reserves."
However, accountants and tax experts, due to the "blackout", have requested an extension to the submission of all returns, the deadline for which expires tomorrow, April 30.
