Hackers have published names, email addresses, message history and partially secured login credentials belonging to over 158,000 users of the Boxee.tv forum, the online TV service acquired by Samsung last year.

The breach occurred last week, when a full copy of the forum's data was stolen and made widely available. The service's employees immediately began notifying users about the issue. The leaked file, which is 800MB in size, contained data related to 158,128 user accounts, approximately 172,000 email addresses and the encrypted passwords associated with those accounts. Other data included users' dates of birth, IP addresses, website activity, message histories and password changes.
