An end to Samsung's misleading smartphone performance results

Samsung has been accused of rigging benchmark results on recent smartphone models to attract more buyers by showing higher performance

This seems to be changing with the latest Android update to version 4.4, where with a patch, Samsung will no longer be able to cheat the benchmarks.

The issue began when HTC and Samsung smartphones were excluded from Futuremark benchmarksbecause their models "stole" the measurements.

Samsung has never taken a clear position on this issue, not even in the past, when in AnandTech's benchmark test, the Galaxy S4 seemed to perform up to 20% faster than the competition, presenting it as a feature of the Exynos processor.
