The European Parliament is a "victim" of hackers

hackerChaos reigns in the European Parliament's second network in Brussels, following a hacker attack.

Hackers managed to "break" the code of one network and steal a large number of messages and information exchanged that day.

Sources within the European Parliament report that the size and quality of the stolen information is not particularly significant and is not a reason for panic.

Nevertheless, the network remains closed, to prevent new attacks, and will continue to be out of service for at least a week or two, until the code is completely replaced and its security is ensured.

Until then, queues are being created by European Parliament employees to configure their computers to connect to the second network, as well as significant delays in its speed due to increased traffic.
