Android 4.3 begins rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S4 in Europe

Good news for Samsung Galaxy S4 owners, as the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware update for their device has already started rolling out in Europe since Thursday.

The update is starting from Germany and will be rolled out to all European countries. Of course, you need to be patient, as the process is gradual. It is worth noting that the update only applies to S4s with the I9505 code, i.e. LTE models with the Snapdragon 600 processor.

Here are the most basic improvements that Android 4.3 brings to Samsung devices:

-OpenGL 3.0 support

-Support for Galaxy Gear smartwatch

-TRIM support (makes the device faster)

-Pre-installed Samsung Wallet

-New Samsung keyboard

-New Samsung browser (Full screen, new tabs, etc.)

-New Reading Mode

-Firmware update for the camera

According to Samsung insiders, the Galaxy S III is expected to receive the Android 4.3 update in November. The Galaxy Note II will be even later (December) due to the many pre-installed S Pen-related features (which, apparently, conflict with Jelly Bean).
