Microsoft has another, completely different proposal for utilizing Kinect, by exploiting its advanced capabilities even in clothing stores.
Combining the application of augmented reality, with digital signage and social media connectivity, it proposes a model that will allow the customer to easily and quickly try on the clothes they want, share the image online with their friends asking for their opinion, choose the right size and complete the purchase electronically, without having to move in front of the "magic" mirror.
This particular scenario certainly fits better with the way most men choose their clothes, trying to avoid the adventure of the fitting room, although it could also provide some solution to the usual... debate between demanding and indecisive ladies and bored saleswomen.
