Nearly every streaming video service tracked by ASCI increased its customer satisfaction score compared to the previous year, with Apple seeing one of the biggest increases. The score for Apple TV+ in 2024 reached 79, up from 76 the previous year.
The percentage change for Apple TV+ is 4%, matching the ratings gains experienced by Sling TV and ESPN+. Crackle saw the biggest increase, gaining 7% to a rating of 75.
Crackle's rise may reflect industry trends, where customers are limiting discretionary spending and preferring cheap and free alternatives for consuming content, even if that means watching ads.

In this survey, Apple TV+ actually ranks fourth overall. Amazon Prime Video leads with 82 , Peacock with 80 , YouTube Premium with 80 , then Apple TV+ with 79 – tied with Hulu , Netflix , and Sling TV. Max and Paramount+ score 78 , and Disney+ scores 77 .

When it comes to the devices consumers use to watch content , smart TVs are unsurprisingly the most popular, with smartphones coming in second place.
Although Apple still doesn't release exact viewership or subscriber numbers for services , the strong increase in reported user satisfaction for Apple TV+ shows the growing interest in Apple's expanding catalog of original TV shows and movies.
