Tesla informed its employees today that it will make another wage adjustment, the second in as many weeks, following employee frustration with the latest adjustment.

However, the automaker has delayed its second pay raise, which comes at the same time that CEO Elon Muskis asking for a historic compensation package.
Tesla recently announced annual salary increases for employees across the company following annual reviews.
Much has been said about the wage increase for Tesla factory workers after the union's victory over the Big Three automakers, putting more pressure on non-union automakers like Tesla.
However, not all Tesla employees were satisfied with the changes to pay .
We noted that Tesla informed employees that they would not receive their regular stock compensation after their annual reviews. The pay increase for hourly employees was also smaller than expected, despite the high inflation environment.
Tesla employees have reached out to express these concerns .
Apparently, Tesla heard some of these concerns, and on January 1, the company sent an email to employees notifying them that it would be making another salary adjustment.

However, the January 15 deadline passed and employees did not receive an updated adjustment to their salaries.
Hourly employees were told that Tesla would need another two weeks to conduct a “market assessment.”.
This second wave of Tesla pay raises comes amid discussions by CEO Elon Musk about his own potential new compensation package. But the CEO is using a bargaining tactic similar to that of a union threatening a strike, which is ironic considering he hopes to keep unions out of Tesla.
Musk has said he wants 25% of the voting power in Tesla, which would require him to roughly double his shareholding in the company. If that doesn't happen, the CEO has said he would prefer to develop artificial intelligence products in his new company xAI.

The threat is particularly problematic, as the CEO characterizes Tesla as an AI/robotics company and even stated that Tesla is worth nothing if it doesn't solve the AI problem with autonomous driving.
