Meet Cute: TikTok has an internal matchmaking service for employees to introduce their colleagues to friends and family members, it has been revealed.

The channel, called Meet Cute, is on the workplace tool used by thousands of TikTok employees around the world for document hosting and video conferencing. It also helps people find a potential romantic partner among their colleagues.
On the platform, which was made famous by Forbes, employees can “promote” their family, friends or acquaintances to colleagues, with a feed of posts that shows information that would be displayed on a typical dating app, such as height and weight. The service also allows employees to comment on posts and rate the people featured in the feed.
The platform, which is located on the company's corporate forum called ByteMoments, is primarily used by employees based in China, but staff around the world use ByteMoments for their daily work.
A TikTok spokesperson said the Meet Cute feature was configured for use in mainland China, suggesting it was not intended for use by employees overseas.
There is a note on the channel warning employees not to post personal staff information and to remember that it is intended for introducing people outside the company to ByteDance employees.
TikTok employees who spoke to Forbes said attempt to facilitate matchmaking feels like a "violation of personal boundaries."
