We're closer than ever to the new Galaxy S24 series . But will it use the Exynos 2400 chip in Europe?
Rumors have been slowly starting to trickle in, and while there's still a lot we don't know about the upcoming smartphones, a clearer picture is starting to emerge. The Galaxy S23 series that was released this year came with a big upgrade for European users - the use of a Snapdragon SoC over an Exynos chip. Now, Galaxy users in Europe may be in for some bittersweet news, as Samsung appears to be changing course after just a year.

Ice Universe, a Samsung leaker who is considered quite reliable, posted a tweet saying that he is 100% certain that the Exynos 2400, a new high-end chipset currently being developed by Samsung, will be adopted in Europe. Although the tweet does not explicitly mention the Galaxy S24, it is easy to connect the pieces of the puzzle, as it came along with a series of other tweets from the leaker regarding Samsung’s upcoming flagship model. The Exynos 2400 may have a maximum clock frequency of 3.16 GHz on the most efficient core, with other cores clocked at 2.9 GHz, 2.6 GHz, and 1.95 GHz.

Ice Universe has previously shared other details about the Galaxy S24 series, including possible information about the Galaxy S24 Ultra's display. He also mentioned that all models in the series will feature an ultra-bright display that can reach 2,500 nits. As for the Exynos rumor, this isn't the first time we've heard it in any form, and while nothing is certain, some clues are starting to come to life.

Of course, this is just a rumor, so be a little cautious. But if Samsung ends up releasing the Galaxy S24 with an Exynos chip, we'd really like it to disprove those who criticize it with Snapdragon-level performance. But that remains to be proven.
