Tesla has updated its website, and specifically the Cybertruck page, and removed the Cybertruck specifications and prices for each configuration of the electric truck.

This change comes as it appears that the long-awaited electric vehicle will be delayed in its launch, with the launch expected next year.
When it introduced the Cybertruck in 2019, Tesla announced that the electric truck would be offered in three different configurations:
- Single Motor RWD with 250+ mile range, 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds, 110 mph top speed, and a price of $39,900
- Dual Motor AWD with 300+ miles of range, 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, 120 mph top speed, and a price of $49,900
- Tri Motor AWD with 500+ miles of range, 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, 130 mph top speed, and a price tag of $69,900
These configurations, specifications, and prices remained on Tesla's website and pre-order page for the Cybertruck for over two years.
Last night, Tesla updated its Cybertruck website to remove any reference to these configurations:

The automaker is now only listing some of the top specs, such as a towing capacity of over 14,000 pounds and 0-60 mph in "just 2.9 seconds," which were previously specs associated with the top-of-the-line tri-motor Cybertruck.
Tesla is also citing a range of “up to 500 miles of range” when it previously cited a range of “500+ miles.”.
This update comes after Tesla officially stated that the start of production of the Cybertruck will take place at the end of 2022.
Such a move would generally mean that Tesla is not necessarily planning to launch the Cybertruck with these specific configurations and that the specifications and prices have changed.

This is to be expected, as they have likely evolved over the past two years, and especially since we have a full year before the electric truck reaches production. It also makes perfect sense that the Cybertruck's prices would need to be updated.
The $39,900 base price was always ambitious, but it became unthinkable after a few recent price increases on the Model 3. It would be hard to imagine Tesla selling the base Cybertruck for $39,900 when the Model 3 starts at $42,000. However, the base version of the Cybertruck is expected to be the last one available, and we don't expect it until late 2023-2024.
