MonoCMS 2.6 The Greek CMS

MonoCMS is a website content management system, just like WordPress, Blogger, Joomla, etc. monocms

The difference between Monocms and the above is that it belongs to the category of non-database systems. Data processing is done with PHP and their storage in XML. monocmsart

Thus, it uses the server's file system to store data, which makes it extremely simple, small in size, and very fast.

MonoCMS is made by a Greek web developer who lives in Athens (Panagiotis or Pano z), and so at the same time as the English version, it also acquired a Greek version.

The first compound of the system's name itself comes from the Greek word "mono".

Today, as Panagiotis (project developer) informed us, the new version 2.6 was released.

The transition to version 2.6 has been completed, with the new widget editor, which gives users the ability to edit parts of their website, without needing to know code, simply by selecting pre-installed widgets.

With the release of version 2.6, the number of plugins is small, but it is only a matter of time before more and more interesting ones are installed. The editing page has been completely changed to support the new functionality. The theme files remain editable via code.
