Apple is said to be seeking new ways to give life to its products, and as it appears it plans to invest more in research and development, according to a new publication.
Thus Apple is willing to spend around $10 billion on research and development in 2016 as reported by Above Avalon. The specific amount is higher than the amount the company had in its 2015 budget ($6 billion).
Of course, even if the post is true, the fact does not necessarily guarantee that Apple is on the right track, as a successful strategy depends on many factors.
And the first of these is the effectiveness of the research and development process. Apple is fully aware of the fact that its products are no longer innovative, and by investing in the research, development and pre-production process, the company hopes to bring new products.
The CEO of Apple Tim Cook has already announced that the “next iPhones” will be released with features we can’t even imagine at this moment, and perhaps Cupertino indeed has some innovative ideas. Mr. Tim Cook, however, has not specified when these “next iPhones.”
After all, from time to time we have heard from many companies about new innovative ideas, but we have never seen them on the shelves of stores. Usually they remain hidden in the files of the patent registration offices.
Surely we have heard that the manufacturing company of the iPhone is trying its luck with new products such as the development of a car, so it is likely that part of this new budget is intended for an upcoming Apple car.
Without a doubt, things will not change overnight, but at least we know that Apple knows there is a problem and is preparing to change.
