New Philips 43-inch 4K Ultra HD: MMD, brand license partner of Philips Monitors, announces a new addition to the Philips 4K Ultra HD monitor range. The new 43-inch monitor, the largest in the range so far, offers the same great viewing experience, detail and clarity as the rest of the monitors in the series.

The ultra-wide desktop gives professional users more space than ever before. With MultiView 4K support, one can view data from four different sources simultaneously without losing the sense of expanded desktop space that a display of this size creates.

Philips 43: Quadruple clarity and enhanced productivity

The new Philips 43 BDM4350UC monitor uses high-efficiency panels to deliver UltraClear 4K UHD images: with 3840 x 2160 pixels, four times the resolution and sharpness of Full HD. Whatever the application, the display delivers vivid images and graphics. CAD engineers can focus on the fine details of the most complex graphics. When it comes to geographical searches, scientific images are presented with greater clarity than ever. Special user categories such as financial experts who process data in many and complex spreadsheets can see it all at once without having to decipher tiny cells. For a wider perspective, the ultra-slim bezel design of the display allows two Philips 43-inch displays to be placed side by side, creating a wide panoramic view without the need for physical dividers.

Philips 43: MultiView for 4K displays

With 4K UHD available on the Philips 43-inch display, there is plenty of room to work on multiple windows and applications. Ideal for situations where data needs to be simultaneously viewed and processed from multiple sources. The MultiView feature allows users to view data from four different sources and four Full HD windows simultaneously on one screen.

Picture-by-Picture (PbP) mode provides a useful overview of data in control centers – such as traffic or weather monitoring, air traffic control and facility security. Four cameras from different sources can be monitored on a single screen. In the workplace, team members can view content from four notebooks, increasing efficiency and facilitating team meetings with input from multiple sources. Others may prefer to combine work with pleasure. In particular, with Picture-in-Picture mode (PiP) that supports two devices, users can watch a live football match via a set-top box while working on their computer.

Philips 43: Expanded connectivity

The new Philips 43 4K Ultra HD monitor, with connectivity options including HDMI, DisplayPort and MHL for streaming from mobile devices (while charging the device at the same time), is built for all uses. The ultra-fast USB 3.0 (at 5.0 Gbit/s, the transfer rate is approximately 10 times faster than USB 2.0) allows users to enjoy their content on the unique 43-inch 4K Ultra HD display at 60Hz.

The new Philips 43-inch BDM4350UC, with an indicative retail price of €789, will be available in major electronics stores in early May.
