Since Microsoft released Windows 10 on July 29, the first activation problems with the new operating system have appeared. According to the company, this is due to the very large number of computers connecting to its servers, trying to validate the installation.
Since then, Microsoft has recommended that everyone wait 24 to 48 hours for the first wave of installations to pass. But it's been more than a week and many are claiming that the problems are still there.
Most of the users who are having trouble activating Windows 10 report that Microsoft is still telling them to wait, citing the same issues with the activation servers as the cause.
Basically, the problem that users face is that those who upgrade their system to Windows 10 using the built-in upgrade, the operating system activates correctly, but if someone tries to perform a clean install, the activation fails.
The error that usually occurs is 0xC004C003, and the company continues to state that you should wait 24-48 hours.
Microsoft has not made any official statement on the matter. We don't know if there is actually something wrong with the company's activation servers, or if it is a bug in the coding of the activation feature.
So, like it or not, waiting seems to be the only option for now.
