Wireshark has earned the title of the best network protocol analyzer. It offers users the means to capture the traffic running on a computer network or system, interactively. The application has just been updated to version 1.21.5.
The Wireshark developers released the minor update to fix several issues. There are no new features, as this is just a maintenance release.
According to the changelog, the new version of Wireshark fixes seven vulnerabilities that were identified in the LBMR, WebSocket, WCP, X11, and IEEE 802.11 dissectors, as well as in the Android file parser and packet reassembly code.
Many bugs were fixed, such as a crash that occurred when disabling the “Update list of packets in real time” option
