Perhaps most of you didn't manage to see the private torrent site OiNK, since it has been closed for years. For those who remember, sources say the website will come back online though… Forget what you thought you knew!
Torrent tracker OiNK was launched in 2004 and quickly became known around the world. The closed community had around 180,000 members when it was shut down in 2010 after a legal dispute.
This time around OiNK will be back online but not as a pirate who distributes mp3s before they are even released. You can visit the website at the old domain and ask to be sent an invitation to register (Oink.me.uk).
According to TorrentFreak, the owner of OiNK says that the site will come back online, with a different approach this time.
“We will inform you about the different path we will take to continue the story of the site with a legal approach,” he said, without giving further details.
