Hackers have attacked the official website of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), (Australia's national public broadcasting network https://abc.net.au), resulting in the leakage of personal information from almost 50,000 users. The hacking was carried out as part of the #OpWilders operation.
Hackers managed to breach the ABC website server, which allowed them to gain access to personal information from the site's database.
The data leak is available on pastebin and shows passwords in encrypted form, usernames, email addresses, zip codes, and many other details.
The ABC has confirmed that its website has been hacked and that user accounts have been compromised since last night.”
