Name Pluto's two moons

In 1978, scientists discovered that distant, icy Pluto had a moon they named Charon. It took 27 years before two others, Night and Hydra, were discovered. A team of researchers from the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute discovered two more bodies orbiting Pluto in 2011 and 2012.

Pluto Contest

The team of researchers is now asking friends of Space to help them choose the names of the two moons. They have compiled a list of candidate names and created a website where visitors can vote for two of them. The candidate names are naturally related to the mythical world of Pluto, the underworld where souls go after death. The list includes names such as: Cerberus, Acheron, Orpheus, Persephone, Hypnos, Eurydice.
