Findikoglu evaded police until December 2013, when he was arrested in Frankfurt, and fought for his extradition until last year, pleading not guilty in June.

He would face up to 247.5 years in prison if found guilty during the extradition process.

Findikoglu used the aliases “Segate,” “Oreon,” and “Predator” to target JPMorgan Chase, MasterCard, and the American Red Cross as part of a group that since 2010 has collected tens of millions of dollars from ATMs in nearly 25 countries.

The group's largest heist took place in February, when it stole $40 million through 36,000 illegal ATM transactions in 24 countries. The withdrawals were made within just a few hours.

The gang stole customer data and used hacked credentials to change the account holder's daily withdrawal limit and then withdrew the money.

In an attack in February 2011, hackers took $10 million with an epic scheme of 15,000 withdrawals in 18 countries!

In December 2012, the group withdrew $5 million through 4,500 transactions from ATMs in 20 countries.

The group participated in one of the biggest robberies of the 21st century. It is now a fact that in the place of guns and masks, laptops and the Internet are now found!
