Apple is preparing to conquer the Chinese market very soon , as the iPhone 6 will be released there on October 17. As Apple has stated, consumers who wish to purchase an iPhone 6 will be able to pre-order it from its official website on October 10. However, Chinese users can already pre-order the device through Chinese mobile phone providers: China Mobile , China Unicom and China Telecom , with the results of the first pre-orders of the device making Apple executives rub their hands with satisfaction .
Specifically, in all three aforementioned companies, Chinese users made 2 million pre-orders in just 6 hours. This is truly an impressive number, since 4 million iPhone 6s were ordered online within 24 hours, but in 9 different countries. Of course, we should not forget the fact that China is the largest mobile phone market in the world, with more than 1.2 billion active users and the competition that Apple faces in this region is fierce. Xiaomi, Lenovo, Huawei, andSamsung all hold a respectable share of the Chinese market and Apple certainly has a difficult task.
However, the fact that the new generation of iPhone now features large displays, which Chinese consumers are known to love , will certainly help Apple attract more interest from Chinese consumers.
