Android and iOS have official apps from Google, but Windows Phone users don't have Google Apps available. However, they do have an official app that allows them to download Google apps.
Recently, some applications such as Google Hangouts, Google voice, Google +, Google maps and Gmail were added to the Windows phone store at the cost of $1.99.
While the legitimate Google search app for Windows publishes under the name 'Google Inc', all of these apps are published by “Google, Inc”.
It is clear that this is an attempt to trick Windows phone users into believing that they are official apps from Google. These fake apps were first spotted by WinBeta.
Microsoft removed the apps from its store, after being notified by “The Next Web. ”
