US officials accuse Iran of hacking attack on Navy systems

Hackers working for the Iranian have breached United States Navy computer networks, US officials say.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the attack is being taken seriously by the Pentagon. On the other hand, officials have noted that there is no evidence to suggest that valuable information was stolen by the attackers.

The WSJ reports that Iranian officials declined to comment on the allegations.

This is not the first time Iran has been accused of cyberattacks against US. The country is believed to be behind actions targeting American banks and the energy sector.

This latest round of accusations comes amid negotiations between the two countries over Iran's nuclear program.
