A certificate of appreciation from Europol's "European Cybercrime Center" was awarded to the Cybercrime Prosecution for its contribution.
As part of the ongoing actions to combat fraud, via the internet and more specifically in the air transport sector, a representative of Europol's "European Cybercrime Centre - EC 3" visited the Cybercrime Directorate the day before yesterday.
In the context of the visit and on behalf of the Operational Director of the aforementioned European Center, Fernando Ruiz, an honorary distinction was awarded to the Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate for its continuous work, at an operational and investigative level, aimed at combating fraud via the internet and dismantling organized crime groups operating in cyberspace.
