Photos and Get Office App get new versions for Windows 10
Microsoft today released the new app updates for Windows 10, so consumers who have already installed the new operating system are advised to go to the store and look in the Downloads and Updates section to get the new versions as soon as possible.
There are two updates waiting to be downloaded right now, called Get Office and Photos, but as usual, there are no details available about the apps, so it's hard to say what exactly has changed in these versions.
Considering the fact that Microsoft unveiled Office 2016 earlier today, the new updated version of Get Office may be related to that release, helping you download and install the new productivity app for Windows 10 on your PC.
And speaking of Office 2016, it’s fully compatible with Windows 10, and Microsoft is also offering a free version of the app for devices with a 10-inch screen or smaller. The free Office app is offered as a universal app and works on PCs, tablets, smartphones, and “running” the new operating system. Plus, it’s fully optimized for touch and can be used without a mouse and keyboard.
Despite the lack of release details, it is still recommended that users update their apps as soon as possible because it is likely to fix bugs and improve performance, contributing to a much better experience on Windows 10.
