The developer revealed that the company has added support for simultaneous multilingual spell checking in a recent experimental build of Chrome Canary.

To enable the new feature in Chrome Canary,
Open the address: chrome://flags/#enable-multilingual-spellchecker and enable the option from there.
Then, visit chrome://settings/languages and tick 'Use this language for spell checking' for each language you want to use this feature for.
Engadget notes that the new feature is now available in Chrome Canary for Windows, Linux and ChromeOS, and for Apple's OS X the browser uses the operating system's language settings for spell checking.
