SecNews was EXCLUSIVELY informed a short while ago about a protest movement carried out by Greek whitehat hackers with a powerful hacking attack against the Panhellenic School Network , which falls under the Ministry of Culture, Education and Religious Affairs.
The group, led by “nyo” according to an anonymous message sent to the editorial team of SecNews, informs that they attacked the school network (SCH.GR) and proceeded to alter 21(!) websites of their choice. With the aim of protesting collectively for the bullying case that shook Greece, the Greek hackers posted protest content on the servers of the school network!
As the editors of SecNews were informed in the communication they made with a member of the group, “nyo” (who, according to his statement, belongs to white hat hackers), they proceeded with the attack-protest in order to express their own message (as they specifically state):
In memory of Vangelis Giakoumakis and all children who experience daily bullying, we have carried out the following defacements.
Our goal is not destruction. But we wish in our own way to protest and leave a strong message in all directions.

The message posted on the websites states:

It is worth mentioning that in his statement, “nyo” claims that the attacks they carried out are a “sample” of their capabilities since they have FULL access to the school network (SCH.GR) and can alter any page they wish. In addition, they targeted schools in primary and secondary education as well as schools in Ioannina, the city where the unfortunate Vangelis Giakoumakis studied, who, according to the authorities, was proven to have been a victim of bullying by his shameless classmates.
