LG's smart keyboard incorporates technology that adapts and analyzes the user's writing style to enable even faster typing with fewer errors. It predicts words and allows the user to adjust its height to better fit the dimensions of their hands and the exact position of each thumb.
A new series of features are available with the upcoming upgrade, including:
-Bilingual Word Suggestion: automatically detects and changes words to the correct language without the user having to change it manually. The smart keyboard is "smart" enough to understand the language in which the user wants to write.
-Emoji Suggestion: suggests the appropriate emoticon icon for each specific word, thus giving users even more alternatives to express themselves. For example, when the user types the word "love", the smart keyboard will suggest using the heart icon from the emoji icon database.
-Application-based Text Tone Suggestion: based on an application that is trained by the user's habits and suggests the appropriate words depending on the tone the user wants to use. For example, if the user starts writing an email with the word "Dear", the next time this word will be automatically suggested. However, if the user usually starts his messages with the word "Hello", then this word will be suggested when you start the messaging application.
-Next Word Suggestion: uses contextual analysis and analyzes the user's style while typing, to ultimately suggest the correct word or symbol, thus making typing even faster and more convenient.
-Real-time Path Input: allows the user to enter text with a continuous and fluid movement of their finger on the keyboard, ensuring that the smart keyboard will display suggested words in real time, until the user finds the right one. While previously users would see the suggested word after they had already entered several characters, now with the use of LG's smart keyboard, the suggested words appear in real time, as the user finds the ones they want to use.
