The Greek Safer Internet Center has published a safety guide for the use of mobile phones by children, as part of the information and vigilance action "Saferinternet.gr".
The guide presents suggestions for approaching seven common incidents regarding the use of mobile phones by children, which will help parents and guardians of minors to guide their children towards more responsible behavior in relation to mobile phones.
Each case describes a brief incident, an interpretation of the case that describes the incident, and a suggestion for the parent to approach the incident.
How should parents react when their child asks for a cell phone? Why are children constantly connected to the internet through their cell phones? How should we react if the child has been a victim of cyberbullying?
