Downtube is a useful metro application that allows users to watch their favorite videos from Youtube in the modern Windows 8 environment, but also to download them to their computer with just a few clicks.
The app recently received a brand new update that makes everything run smoother, fixing some bugs that were found in previous versions.
According to the official changelog published in the Windows Store, the new version of Downtube for Windows 8.1 upgrades MP3 download, so if you like a song from YouTube , you can now download it and convert it to MP3 format, using the same application.
As expected, the app continues to work flawlessly on all versions of Windows 8.1 currently available on the market. Users can install it on both desktops and tablets, including Microsoft's Surface RT running Windows RT.
