In the publicity, new details were provided by the Hellenic Police about the pediatrician who was arrested in Ioannina for possession of child pornography material.
According to the related announcement, it concerns a 47-year-old Bulgarian against whom a case file for child pornography has been opened.

Yesterday (28.04.2014), a 47‑year‑old foreign national, pediatrician, Bulgarian citizen was arrested by the Cybercrime Directorate in Ioannina, as part of a self‑initiated process, and a case file was opened against him for child pornography.
Specifically, within the framework of an online investigation by the Cybercrime Directorate, using a special file‑sharing program to locate users who possessed and were willing to distribute child pornographic material, the electronic traces of the 47‑year‑old were identified.
In an investigation carried out at his residence, in the presence of a Prosecutor's Officer, a large number of files of «hard» child pornography material were found stored on various digital storage media.
The seized evidence will be sent to the Forensic Science Laboratories for further examination.
The 47-year-old, with the case file filed against him, was taken to the competent Prosecution authorities.
