Microsoft announced that it has completed the acquisition of Nokia Devices and Services business. The acquisition has been approved by Nokia shareholders and government agencies around the world. The completion of the acquisition marks the first step in the two organizations operating together as one team.
Former Nokia Chairman and CEO Stephen Elop will work as executive vice president in Microsoft's Devices Group, retaining oversight of business devices that include Lumia smartphones and tablets, Nokia mobile phones, Xbox hardware, Surface, Perceptive Pixel (PPI) products and accessories.
