The company has released an urgent update for Flash Player fixing a vulnerability that could allow an unauthorized attacker with remote access to take complete control of a computer.
Adobe recommends that users update Flash immediately – especially if they use Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.
The vulnerability affects Windows and Mac, while Linux users do not face significant risk.
“This vulnerability could allow an attacker to remotely take control of an affected system,” Adobe said in a blog post. “According to reports, an exploit has already been developed to exploit this vulnerability, and users are advised to apply the updates outlined in the security bulletinas soon as possible.”
