The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has added five new individuals to its Cyber Most Wanted.
The list includes Farhan Arshad and Noor Aziz Uddin, two Pakistanis accused of participating in an international hacking of telecommunications systems. Their actions reportedly caused $50 million in damage.
Another person whose name graces the FBI's Cyber Most Wanted list is Russian national Alexsey Belan. Belan is wanted for hacking into the networks of three major American companies from which he stole sensitive information.
Andrey Nabilevich Taame, a Syrian national, is fourth on the list and is wanted for his role in the Ghost Click operation, which claimed over half a million victims in the United States.
The last on the list is Carlos Perez – Melara, who is accused of distributing spyware.
The FBI says anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the above will be rewarded with up to $100,000.
