This is the anti-fascist photo by Femen for which Facebook is blocking user accounts [image]

Tasos (TAZ) Theodoropoulos shares his personal and not only experience from the 12-hour blocking of his account that Facebook imposed on him for conspiracy and example.

The photo below shows a topless woman, a member of the well-known activist organization Femen, with the words "may fascists rest in hell" written on her body in paint while the woman has a gun in her mouth, having invaded Notre Dame Cathedral with 8 others. The incident occurred in February 2013, with the topless women shouting slogans against fascism and homophobia, for which they will be tried in February 2014

Regardless of whether or not one agrees with the tactics of Femen, who are accustomed to invading everywhere, from holy temples to film festivals and fashion catwalks, the photo does not cease to be a journalistic document of photoreportage. And a form of protest, much more painless in its pretentious challenge, against fascism and the methods of imposing its ideas. Which reaches, as we recently saw in Greece, to the physical extermination - murder of its opponents.

I chose this particular photo as my cover photo on my personal Facebook page on the day of Pavlos Fyssas' murder. A day when accounts and groups celebrating the murder were created on Facebook, with posts of violence and racism that went so far as to warn us that "Fyssas' death was only the beginning, now you will see the rest of us." And which, despite repeated reports from many people, continued to exist proudly and undisturbed for many days afterwards and probably still exist now.

Last night, Facebook sent me a notice stating that content that did not comply with the community rules was detected, removed, and for this reason I am prohibited – as a penalty – from posting any comment, publication, or image for the next 12 hours. Facebook basically gave me a “da da da of decency.” Having the ability to continue using the messaging function through my page, I communicated the event to several of my friends, so that they could reproduce it as yet another indication of the fascist democracy of Facebook. Just a few hours ago, one of them fell victim to the same “punishment” for republishing my photo and letter.

The above incident, along with many other similar ones that have been reported to me even by well-known journalists (and particularly annoying for the causticity of their anti-systemic pen) is yet another example of the democratic perception of the website. Which exhausts its rigor in what? In the nipple of the woman's breast from Femen? In the fact that the photo was taken inside a Christian church and that some people felt offended? And who are these some people?

For Facebook to do something like this, there must be a report from other users. How many are they? And by what criteria is their report evaluated in the context of the mass psychopathology of social media? The one in which every bitter woman gains substance by shitting on the wall of anyone who comes to her and then asks for the rest if you respond accordingly?
