The 2024 Tesla Model 3 RWD is now more affordable to lease than the 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid

Looking for a sedan? The experts at CarsDirect have published an interesting comparison between EVs and hybrid sedans. You can lease the Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Rear Drive 2024 for just $299 per month for 36 months, with a down payment of $3,993 at signing.

This equates to a monthly cost of $410, which is great considering the Model 3 price is $40,380.
Meanwhile, the Toyota Camry, now available only as a hybrid with up to 51 MPG combined, hasn’t seen a price increase despite the redesign. However, Toyota is offering the LE model for $359 per month for 36 months, with a $2,999 down payment at signup. While the suggested retail price for the Toyota Camry is $29,804, the actual cost is $442 per month — that’s $32 more than the Tesla Model 3. Plus, with a Model 3, you’ll save even more since you won’t have to add fuel.

If the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long Range All Wheel Drive has piqued your interest, it's now more affordable thanks to a $7,500 tax credit. You can lease it for $395 per month for 36 months, with a $4,089 down payment, making the effective monthly cost $509. The Long Range AWD adds about 70 miles of range.

If you want to buy the Long Range model instead of leasing, the price difference is only about $1,000 compared to the Standard Range model, thanks to the federal tax credit. However, as we reported last week, Tesla has stopped funding the Model 3 Long Range promotion.
