The player controls a character that attacks automatically while fighting against constant waves of monsters, aiming to survive the attack as long as possible and unlock additional characters, weapons and ancient items for later sessions. Despite the game's name and dominant art style, none of the monsters encountered are vampires.
As noted, there is also a new character, new weapons and a new bonus stage to unlock. The same page has reviewed the upcoming Operation Guns DLC update in detail.
As you can see in the trailer above, it's humorously described as the first 'AAAA' update of Vampire Survivors - with all sorts of 'innovations' like animations, 'amazing' physics on the train mechanisms, door openings and even go-cart racing!
