Airbus Defense and Space has agreed to acquire INFODAS, a German company based in Cologne that specializes in cybersecurity and IT solutions for the public sector.
The transaction is subject to regular regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed before the end of 2024.
Airbus’ acquisition of INFODAS strengthens the company’s cybersecurity for the benefit of not only its European – but also its global customers. With growing cyber threats and the increasing digitalization and connectivity of its products and systems, cybersecurity is crucial for Airbus’ growth. In recent years, Airbus has been continuously expanding its cybersecurity capabilities , ensuring the best possible protection for its products, operations , customers and ecosystem, including major programs such as the Future Combat Air System (FCAS).

INFODAS company with around 250 employees and annual revenues of around 50 million euros. In addition to its headquarters in Cologne, it has additional offices in various cities in Germany, such as Berlin, Bonn, Hamburg, Munich and Mainz. It has been certified by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) as an IT security service provider in the areas of information, consulting and penetration testing.
