YouTube has announced that it is starting experiments with new features using artificial intelligence.
Through the premium package available to subscribers, users will be able to try out a new chat tool that uses artificial intelligence to answer questions about YouTube content and make recommendations. They will also be able to try out a new feature that summarizes topics in the comments of a video.

The chat tool will be available on youtube.com/new in the coming weeks, while the feature will initially be tested by a small group of users who sign up for the experiment through the website.
"These features are experimental and may not always be completely accurate. That's why we're starting small, with limited availability, and gathering feedback," YouTube said in a statement. The company says users will be able to submit feedback directly through its tools.
The AI will be used to answer user questions and summarize comments below a video. The experiments will start in the US on Android devices and will be available only to YouTube Premium subscribers . The topic summarization feature will be based on published comments and will help viewers stay informed about the main topics being discussed.
YouTube plans to continue these tests in the coming weeks and months, with the goal of gathering feedback on the usage and performance of these new features.
