Apple announced the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus which come with improved performance and new features, including a USB-C port!
We've been waiting for a long time for the day when the iPhone would adapt to the widely used USB-C standard. Previous models featured Apple 's Lightning connector . However, the change was expected, as the company had previously confirmed the transition to comply with upcoming European Union regulations. Thus, the iPhone 15 is the first iPhone with a USB-C port .
Aside from the change in the charging port, there isn't a very significant change in the design of the new iPhone 15. It looks quite similar to last year's iPhone 14.

The iPhone 15 comes with a 6.1-inch display and the 15 Plus with a 6.7-inch display.
All iPhone 15 models also come with Dynamic Island. This feature first appeared on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, providing a new way to see certain notifications and interact with apps. The iPhone 15 also has display OLED Super Retina, which supports Dolby Vision with a brightness of 1,600 nits. However, the maximum brightness of this display is 2,000 nits in sunlight, twice that of the iPhone 14.
Another notable upgrade is the improved camera. There's now a 48-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor. There are also improvements to portrait mode, as well as night mode, Live Photos, and action mode. Finally, if you're a selfie fan, the front camera features autofocus and portrait lighting.

The new iPhone 15 is powered by the A16 chip , the same one found in the iPhone 14 Pro models. Apple is also promising “ all-day life battery ” thanks to the larger battery. The iPhone 15 is available in pink, yellow, green, blue, and black.
It starts at $799 for the basic 128GB model, while the iPhone 15 Plus starts at $899, also for the 128GB model. Both will be available on September 22nd, with pre-orders starting this Friday.
