Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have announced that the mech action game Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon has been updated to version 1.02 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The following message was given before the patch notes themselves:
"Please note that this patch focuses on balance adjustments that will allow players to have more variety in early and mid-game builds when assembling their AC, as well as bug fixes.
PvP-oriented balance adjustments will be released at a future date."

Notice for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XSX|S players
If the game is set to launch in offline mode in Network Settings within the System Menu, the latest rule files will not be downloaded even if the update is applied (the game will remain on rule Ver. 1.02). Please ensure that the game is set to online mode before attempting to apply this update.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon players navigate vast 3D environments with maneuverable mechs. Once again, FromSoftware brings its refined game design, featuring challenging combat and “satisfying progression.” Furthermore, players will recognize the sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when overcoming a difficult situation and savoring the momentary victory, and perhaps a boost to their prestige, before taking on the next challenge.
There is no story connection between this game and Armored Core V, a choice made to allow players to jump straight into this game. As for new players, the developer understands that mech customization and creation can seem confusing to new players, so they have made the assembly and customization more intuitive this time around.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
