Nothing, announced that it plans to release its long-awaited new smartphone model, the “Nothing Phone (2)”, in the summer of 2023.
The company had already teased the arrival of the Nothing Phone 2 at MWC 2023 earlier this year. Now, the company has announced a release window via email and social media.

This morning, Nothing posted a small teaser on social media showing off the design of the new phone, complete with a flashing red light. The unique look isn’t much different from the original, aside from some different angles and textures. Of course, we’re only seeing a small portion of the design, so it’s hard to make any definitive statements.
Some users were quick to notice in the teasers that there was a physical switch on the phone, including one on Nothing. However, it seems that this is probably not functional, as a similar "switch" was also present on the original Nothing Phone (1).
Nothing has previously confirmed that the Phone 2 will be sold in the United States and that the device will be a higher-spec option. In today's teaser, the phone is directly referred to as "premium. "

Nothing says the new phone will be a more “premium” device powered by a Snapdragon 8 series processor . But a random post from Qualcomm Amon CEO Cristiano suggests the phone uses last year’s, still-powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset . That would still be a significant upgrade over the Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC in the Nothing Phone 1 .
With Phone (2) set to be released in the summer, it's very likely we'll see more teasers in the coming weeks.
