If you're trying to read or type on your massive iPhone, chances are you've had to make awkward movements to get it done – especially if you only have one hand free.
We all understand the frustration of typing on an unresponsive touchscreen or having to twist our fingers into strange positions to get the screen to respond
Luckily, Apple has designed two convenient featuresso you don't have to hold your phone in an awkward way.
iPhone screen trick #1 – Reachability
Unlock the power of Reachability, an underrated iPhone feature that lets you quickly swipe down from the top of your screen. Accessing the top area of your screen has never been easier.
Apple encourages users to take advantage of the Reachability feature on iPhone when using it in Portrait orientation. This allows them to easily access the top half of the screen with one hand, making their experience more comfortable and convenient.
This feature has been available on iPhones for years, so device is definitely compatible with it. If you want to take advantage of this feature, make sure your iPhone is a model 6 or newer from 2014 onwards.

To enable it, simply go to Settings and then select Accessibility.
Tap “Touch” and enable Reachability to get started.

Unlock your iPhone with Face ID by swiping down from the bottom edge of the screen.
For iPhones with a Home button, double-press it lightly to wake it up.

If you wish to enter full screen mode, simply tap the top of your screen.
iPhone screen trick #2 – One-handed keyboard
This isn't the only way to make it easier to use your iPhone with one hand.
Additionally, there is an effective way to shrink the size of your keyboard for easier typing.
To get started, go into the app you want to type in and make sure your keyboard is open.
Locate the emoji face or globe symbol in the bottom left corner of your screen, then press and hold it.
When you hold down the emoji symbol or the globe, a small “ Keyboard Settings ” box should appear , and on the bottom row you will see three different keyboard symbols.
Tap the symbol on the left to get a keyboard that's easier to type with just your left hand.
Tap the symbol on the right to get a keyboard that's easier to type with just your right hand.

When you're done with the one-handed keyboard , press and hold the emoji or world symbol in the bottom corner and select the center option to return it to its default state.
