You don't need a degree to get the job.

In terms of the capabilities of the Autopilot and Full Self-Driving package, people often say that Tesla's own customers are the testers and that's largely true, but the automaker also does a lot of internal testing.

Most people in Tesla's early access program who receive the first new updates are company employees and that doesn't take into account engineering testing and too much internal testing.

We recently reported that Tesla has begun hiring more ADAS test operators for internal testing of Autopilot and Full Self-Driving (FSD) functions in the US - including California and most recently in Phoenix and Austin.

Now Electrek has posted twelve additional jobs for ADAS test operators, including some new international ones, listed by Tesla as the automaker appears to be testing upcoming new updates to FSD.

Tesla writes in the job description:

"We are looking for a highly motivated individual to accelerate vehicle-level testing for all current and future Autopilot functions."

Tesla wants to hire more testers in the US with new jobs in New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Miami.

However, the automaker is also looking to hire first-time Autopilot and Full Self-Driving testers around the world. Electrek has spotted new positions in Toronto, Toronto Paris, Milan and Barcelona.

The automotive industry needs to test the new capabilities of Autopilot (version 9) in a variety of different scenarios and in different environments - it is important that the roads and signs are different.

However, in order for Tesla to release such a system to consumers, it will have to prove after rigorous testing that its system is safe.
