Clubhouse is now coming to Android for users in the United States . The Android app is available on the Play Store. The voice-based social network on Sunday launched its beta Android app on the Play Store for US users and said the app will gradually become available in other countries.

The app was released last April, exclusively for iPhones. It quickly became popular, attracting many celebrities, politicians, investors and businessmen.
Clubhouse started developing the Android version earlier this year and began testing the beta version this month. Many users were requesting the app for Android devices.
“Our plan over the next few weeks is to gather feedback from the community, fix potential issues, and work on adding some final features, such as payments and club creation, before releasing it more broadly,” the team writes.

Mobile companies have noticed that Clubhouse installs have dropped drastically in recent months, so the launch of the Android app could prove crucial in boosting the social app.
It was only a matter of time before the Android version of Clubhouse was released, given that the largest social networking platforms, i.e. competitors, have an application for Android devices.
“As we move into the summer and continue to expand the backend, we plan to start opening up even more, welcoming millions more people from the iOS waitlist, expanding language support, and adding more accessibility features,” the Clubhouse team wrote.

Currently, the beta version of the Clubhouse Android app does not have many features.
“With Android, we believe Clubhouse will be more complete,” says the Clubhouse blogpost.
